These works play with block forms constructed in polystyrene and surfaced in ways that are intentionally misleading. The faked finishes use paint as 'granite', concrete as 'stucco', sand as ‘stone’, aluminium foil as ‘steel’ and flocking as ‘vegetation’. The intention is to poke fun at some heroic traditions.
